MHCIL started in December, 1994 with credit facilities from IDBI, for its 600 TPD mini cement plant at Mellacheruvu Village, Nalgonda District., A.P. The capacity of cement unit was further increased to 1500 TPD by March 2000.

With a view to improving profitability further and also availing fiscal incentives announced by the Govt. of A.P. for fresh investment, MHCIL has since taken up an expansion scheme envisaging setting up a new 2000 TPD cement unit thereby taking the aggregate capacity to 1.155 million TPA i.e., well above the economic size of 1 million TPA.

Spry Resources has developed ERP project to computerize the entire operations including Finance & accounts (General Ledger, Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Fixed Assets, Cost Accounting), Purchase, Inventory, Marketing, Sales and Distribution, Production, Plant Maintenance, HRMS. The advantages of ERP are:

• Customer requirements forecasting, processing of orders, raw material forecast, inventory Management, Manufacturing to ensure prompt delivery of end products.
• Real-time access of information enables the senior management to closely monitor on a day-to-day basis. MIS will be mainly for use by the middle levels of management. The middle level of management will find it useful in implementing the goals and objectives, which are set by the top level of management.
• Significant increase in the collective responsibility across the organization leading to increased efficiency
